Training and Practice

Aces practices include a combination high speed box practices and full field training.

Our Winter session provides over 100 hours of training November through April alone!  Practices are held 2x/week.   Goalies receive an hour of goalie specific training each week in addition to the 2x/weekly team practices team.

Spring practices, held May through July, are 1-2x/week, and are setup to work around the scholastic and town league schedules.    We are deep into the heart of club tournament season and prospect camps for our 2025s, and time for our players to attend university summer camps.

We typically reserve August for optional clinics, but it's primarily dedicated to a month to rest and recharge before tryouts!

Interested in trying a practice - join an upcoming Discover Aces Practice Day.   There will be scheduled opportunities available throughout the year.  You'll get to experience a practice plan with the team, and will be buddied up with an Aces player.   Coaches will also provide an evaluation of your player upon request.

Additional Training

Throughout the year, we work with organizations to bring in strength and conditioning training for the players.

For those athletes looking for additional drills to refine their specific positioning skills, we have partnered with Pro Theory for a custom Aces training platform.  Pro Theory provides Mind + Body + Lacrosse training videos for attackers, midfielders, defenders and goalies, led by US Pros like Sammy Jo Tracy, Taylor Cummings, Kylie Ohlmiller and Gussie Johns.
